Thank you for trusting us with your care on this challenging journey. Facing a cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming and frightening. Our goal is to give you all of the tools and information you need in order to feel empowered in your care. We believe that education coupled with compassionate and supportive care are what keep our patients at the heart of our practice.
You will learn a lot during this process—about your diagnosis and about yourself. Remember to reach out for help whenever you need it. You are not alone.
As a patient, you are entitled to a second opinion. Getting a second opinion is a standard part of the cancer diagnosis process and is never discouraged at WCC. With most insurances, you can contact us or any other oncologist directly for a second opinion about your care and treatment plan. If your insurance requires referrals, you can request to be referred to a specific provider within your network.
