With more than 25 years of experience as an oncology nurse, Katie is a key part of Women’s Cancer Care, working in our infusion room to administer chemotherapy and educate patients about their treatment, medications, and side effects. She is passionate about making every woman feel comfortable and safe while they are in her care, getting to know patients and their family members so that she can provide additional insights to the providers and care team as a whole. Katie graduated from Fresno City College with her nursing degree, but she continues to learn in her role so that she can make the most positive impact for her patients.
Outside of the clinic, Katie is an avid outdoorswoman. She loves mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking, and during summer, she gets excited to tend her garden and relax at the lake. However, her greatest joy is her family—she loves spending time with her husband, kids, and grandkids!
Katie is proud to volunteer with the Art of Life Cancer Foundation as often as she can, and loves participating in the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Walk with her friends and family.
