Oncology Nurse

Eric Doman is an oncology nurse at Women’s Cancer Care. After spending three decades in customer service positions throughout a variety of industries, Eric realized he could serve people more effectively if he applied his skills in the healthcare field. He earned his nursing degree from San Joaquin Valley College in 2017 and received his ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification in 2018, working as a Patient Services Representative while in school to gain applicable experience. Eric feels that he has finally found his vocational calling. Eric is a people-person by nature, and he believes that having a little fun can make a difficult situation more tolerable. Amidst assessing his patients’ health status and lab results, educating them about medications, administering treatments, and offering therapeutic care, he is focused on personal interactions—building friendships and sharing smiles.

Born and raised in Southern California, Eric originally moved to the Central Valley looking to get out of the city and away from the clutter. When he’s not at work, Eric still loves to escape, heading to the Sierra Nevada Mountains to camp, hike, backpack, and fish with family and friends. Eric and his wife are the Youth Group Leaders at their church, which they have attended for more than 15 years. They have been married for almost two decades and have seven incredible children.
