Dr. Christopher Perkins was the leading breast cancer specialist in the Central Valley, where he served patients in Fresno for over 30 years. He is the founder of Women’s Cancer Care, formerly known as California Oncology of the Central Valley. Board-certified in medical oncology, Dr. Perkins received his medical education at La Salle University College of Medicine in Mexico City. He completed his residency training at what is now Community Regional Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of California School of Medicine, Davis.

Dr. Perkins is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care possible through innovative research, the latest in cancer therapy, and a hospitality-inspired office environment. He and his team are committed to supporting women with cancer and their families while building relationships, offering education, and being a champion in their care. He is also fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of the office, Dr. Perkins enjoys sailing, skiing, travel, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Perkins is a member of the American Medical Association, the Association of Community Cancer Centers, the California Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, Nancy Hind’s Hospice, the Association of Northern California Oncologists, and the Medical Oncology Association of Southern California.

Community Involvement

Dr. Perkins is the founder of Art of Life of Fresno, California, and a supporter of Camp Hope, an orphanage in Ecuador.
